Chandler saw off international competition to secure the Telford Centre corporate commission. The multi faceted form, which stands three meters tall, outside the main entrance to the new fashion quarter, was named by the public in early 2020 this piece is already becoming a landmark within the town. The human form is abstracted and reduced into a linear flat paneled mechanoid. Through this reduction and abstraction Chandler aims to make us consider the human form as a splendid machine. This bronze version brings with it the kudos of Chandler’s first the public commission.
