The technical difficulties inherent in finishing such an intricate piece, present foundries with considerable problems. Now with the exploration of new techniques in conjunction with Mckinney Foundry this piece is now practical. Chandler enjoys pushing new technologies such as digital scanning, printing and newly developed filaments and polymers for producing the most cutting edge castings which make such precision practical and liberates his design process further.
